Taking the heat out of global warming

For the first time in history, people shouting “the end is nigh” are somehow
the sane ones, while those of us who say it is not are now the lunatics.

A lie repeated gains no truth

Richard Treadgold | December 30, 2012

Looking for information on China’s coal use I came across this fact-free summary of the “fight” against CO2 (emphasis added).

Coal already contributes 40 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions—the IEA projects this figure to grow to 50 percent over the next 25 years. Greenhouse gas emissions—which again reached record levels this year—are driving global climate change, the impacts of which we’re already seeing through more extreme weather events, droughts, and rising sea levels.

Say it ten times every day for 20 years and it becomes part of the air we breathe — people accept it.

But it’s hideous, because it’s still a pack of lies.

Note its only coal burnt by round eyes, that causes warming. Asian coal is good and causes cooling.
One need look no further than the inversion of correlation between estimate mean global temperature and co2 emissions .
With a jaundiced eye ,I can claim that as Asian co2 equaled Western co2 temps flatlined.
As asian co2 overcame western output temperatures fall.

Now of course thats pseudo science, but hey this is climatology.
And as 2013 should see an accelerated collapse of the Naked Empire of Lies,(UN) may as well start a few lines of miss-information ourselves.

Amusing that the UKMO have revised their 5 year forecast down, publishing a profile but no rationale for it:-

    http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/65157000/jpg/_65157024_65157023.jpg

From ‘BBC forced to admit global warming ‘static’ ‘

    http://wattsupwiththat.com/2013/01/08/the-other-big-story-today-bbc-forced-to-admit-global-warming-static/#more-77220

Why the major El Niño-type profile (1998/2010 proportions) peaking 2016? Has the UKMO suddenly acquired the smarts to forecast El Niño?

Amusing too the UKMO spin (forecast is fait accompli apparently):-

A Met Office spokesman said “this definitely doesn’t mean any cooling – there’s still a long-term trend of warming compared to the 50s, 60s or 70s.

“Our forecast is still for temperatures that will be close to the record levels of the past few years.

“And because the natural variability is based on cycles, those factors are bound to change the other way at some point.” [but Gaia forbid "the other way" is actually cooler]

I stumbled upon this article in left wing hate blog “The Standard”
    http://thestandard.org.nz/welcome-to-the-burdigalian/

it really does take the prize for total and utter fascism.

    The article commences:

N.B. Anybody attempting to run an AGW denialist arguments will be banned. Them’s the rules. You don’t have to like them. You’ve been warned

This anti-science hate blog apparently is run by a bunch of Labour party activists who claim to represent the views of that party.

They won’t accept any views other than their own. Total utter fascist control freaks

His reply to comment 4 is very revealing of the man’s character, e.g.:

Of course the silly wanker above probably knows this. After all it has been explained so often that even the most pig-ignorant arsehole like him is probably aware of it. Since he has offered absolutely nothing of value, I’m going to change his handle and ban him for a week for trying to derail a post.

This is Lynn Prentice, the “guy with a girl’s name” as Cameron Slater (WhaleOil) likes to call him.

The Standard is definitely a charm-free zone

As the models continue to leave actual temperature readings in their dust, sizeable warming halted about 1995 — although it might resume at any time. It must hasten to have any hope of catching up with the predictions.

If you claim warming continues, we want evidence of continued warming — eminently reasonable. Making us wait for 17 years for that evidence invites us to doubt you.

Claiming that warming hasn't stopped is the same as claiming it has — and both are ridiculous, for nobody knows the future. The best you can do is describe the past.
